Aim: This course gives a basic understanding of Therapeutic Parenting, and a starting knowledge in how to implement it. It is a one day course aimed at parents, carers and professionals who want a better understanding of how to parent differently and help the children they interact with develop their resilience.
Objective: Teaches the difference between traditional and Therapeutic Parenting, as well as giving a strong base of knowledge to build on for future use. We look at different attachment styles and how they impact on our children. Perfect course for the beginner or someone in need of a refresher course. Handouts and reading references are given for reminders.
