Training today with the wonderful staff at Tree House Care Fostering Agency on P.A.C.E. Nothing ever goes to plan with Covid around. Our training was originally going to be our first face to face training of 2022. However, due to some staff contracting Covid we had to quickly revert to online Zoom training. This was a big change as Cara had builders at home and so she had to travel to Driffield and use unfamiliar hardware for the training. Of course with me on hand the glitches weren’t too bad as the PowerPoint crashed a couple of times!
Overall, the trainees seemed to enjoy the training and we had some lovely feedback from their Manager, Claire. Hopefully they enjoyed it so much we get asked back (lol!).
Next week is more Zoom training with staff from a Children’s Home.
